In-house Blood Work

In-house Urinalysis

In-house X-rays
Radiographs are employed to diagnose diseases affecting the chest, abdomen, and musculoskeletal system. They represent the oldest and most commonly utilized form of veterinary medical imaging, aiding in the identification of conditions such as pneumonia, heart failure, cancer, and numerous other potentially life-threatening ailments. In certain situations, sedation of your pet may be necessary, with specific instructions provided by the doctor.
In-house Ultrasounds
Dr. AJ is a certified sonographer, trained to conduct ultrasounds and provide detailed interpretation of results. This invaluable technique allows for thorough examination of internal organs and initially gained prominence in veterinary medicine for pregnancy diagnosis. However, it is also highly effective in assessing heart conditions and detecting alterations in abdominal organs. Ultrasonography proves particularly useful in identifying cysts and tumors.

Cytology involves the microscopic analysis of cells gathered from the body. Various techniques are employed to collect cells from body surfaces, including skin scrapings, impression smears, swabs, and flushes. Following collection, the cells are scrutinized under a microscope.

Sent to the Lab
Certain diagnostic tests conducted at our facility necessitate additional evaluation at the laboratory. We collaborate with Idexx as our designated laboratory for such requirements. These tests encompass histopathologies, specialized blood work, urine analysis and cultures, fecal tests, ringworm testing, and various other diagnostic procedures.
